And this explains why the corrupt media is making all of our eyes glaze over as they enter day 11,485 of demanding Romney release his tax returns and Bain-Bain-Bain.
By focusing on nonsense and on Romney, the media can protect Obama from what you see below --which is an economy and Americans in very real trouble.
A lone gunman burst into a movie theater in Aurora, Colo., at a
midnight showing of the latest Batman film, "The Dark Knight Rises,"
and opened fire, killing at least 12 people and injuring at least 50,
police said.

Americans
who oppose illegal immigration and its devastating impact on
unemployment got something to smile about this week in Pennsylvania,
as Governor Tom Corbett (R) signed into law the Public Works Employment Verification Act (Act No.127), which requires all public works contractors and subcontractors with the state to enroll in and use E-Verify for newly hired employees. The law - patterned after Arizona's landmark 2009 law - will take effect January 1, 2013.
As a precondition
of being awarded a contract for a public work, a public works
contractor and its subcontractors shall provide the state with a
verification form acknowledging responsibilities under and compliance
with the law. Failure by these contractors or their respective subcontractors to use E-Verify by January 1, 2013 would lead to sanctions.
For example for a first violation, a public works contractor or
subcontractor would receive a warning letter detailing the violation -
and that public warning would be posted on the
Department of General Services of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
Internet website. Subsequent violations would lead to immediate debarring from public work for a period ranging from 30 days to 3 years, depending on the number of illegal alien workers, and whether the violation was a willful one.
In addition, the new law will also subject willful violators who misrepresent themselves to a civil penalty of $250 or up to $1,000 for each violation. It also contains critical protections for whistleblowers to
ensure that employees of companies who report their employment of
illegal aliens cannot be fired in retaliation for doing so - a critical
section that will certainly deter many more employers from hiring
illegals in the first place.
Thanks to Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer and her legal team state mandatory E-Verify and employer sanctions laws were found to be constitutional
by the U.S. Supreme Court. Such laws are an easy way for states to
close off a big part of the jobs magnet that brings illegal aliens into
the states to begin with.
We salute the legislature and Gov.
Corbett for enacting Act. No. 127 swiftly. Pennsylvania is showing
other states what can and must be done to remove as many jobs
as possible from those available to illegal aliens, and keeping those
jobs in the hands of Americans in this tough economy.
His life was never in danger or at least no more than any other on a jet ski at night but thats not why he's a stud. Having been in a few situations that were a bit dicey its not so much your courage or lack of it, its more the ability to decide that yes this is indeed what is happening and then acting on it. Oh and Mitt didn't save the dog just to eat it later. What would obama have done ?
The Heroic Romney Rescue That, For Some Reason, The Campaign Doesn't Talk About
A late evening rescue of a capsized family in 2003 shows Romney at his bravest and most decisive. He saved the dog too.
It’s a story that’s not often told. Mitt
Romney at his family’s summer home in Wolfeboro, N.H. on the shores of
Lake Winnipesaukee whisking into the night on a Jet Ski with two of his
sons to rescue a drowning family of four, their two friends, and their
dog.
On the weekend of July 4th, 2003, the Romney family was
enjoying their picturesque summer home in New Hampshire on the shore of
Lake Winnipesaukee. In the early evening, according to reports at the
time, Craig Romney and his older brother Josh were cleaning up the
beach while their father rummaged through the garage. Suddenly, screams
from the lake broke the silence.
"We heard a whole bunch of screaming," Josh Romney told the Boston Herald.
The Romney brothers and their father quickly raced to their Jet Skis.
"We tore out of there and my dad hopped on the other Jet Ski and came
out right after us."
The screams came from Robert Morrissey, of
New Jersey, his wife, their two adult children, two family friends, and
the family dog.
The family, who had traveled from their home
Tewksbury Township, N.J to vacation on the lake, were sailing
peacefully in their 20-foot long wooden boat until it began to take on
water. Within three minutes it had begun to sink.
Though the lake
was calm, the water warm, and they all were wearing life vests, the
near pitch-black darkness terrified the Morrissey clan.
'This happened really, really fast,'' Mr. Morrissey said in 2003.
When the boat started to sink, he dialed 911 on his cellphone as fast
as he could. ''As I'm making the call, the boat is going down under my
feet.''
Romney and his sons followed the shouts to find the group floating in the darkness treading water alongside their dog.
The
Governor heaved the youngest two women onto his Jet Ski, a
three-seater, and raced back to shore. The two Romney sons stayed with
the rest of the family until the Governor returned to ferry the rest of
the family, and their dog, safely to dry land.
The episode
hasn't often been mentioned since that night in 2003, and the Romney
campaign hasn't sought to politicize the affair. But in a primary where
opponents have attempted to cast Romney as a cold, ruthless, uncaring
elitist, it shows Romney at his most heroic.
