Wisconsin

Liberalism lost last night and it wasn't even close. In a fight the unions picked, they.... to put it bluntly had their collective asses handed to them. The unions wanted to send a message, a warning that if you messed with them and their rice bowl you would get hurt. Well they sent a message and that message was that unions ain't bullet proof. There is going to be a great deal of spin on both sides as to what it all means and why it turned out the way it did. I don't know what it means but I do know the why. Its pretty simple ....the policies Walker put in place were working and were seen to be working and that folks is all it was. I'm sure money helped and the ground game the Republicans built and the sheer number of elections the citizens of WI have had forced on them probably played a part but it all comes down to nothing succeeds like success and nothing smells as bad as the stench of failure. The democrats and unions failed in WI and much the same stench is emanating from Washington. You can draw your own conclusions.
