End Result Of Liberal Breeding For Bucks Programs

This is the end result of decades of the liberals breeding for bucks programs where the more babies you make the fatter the check is. If you want to understand what is driving so many of the ills which affect and afflict our society today one need look no further than this. This is what liberalism is root and branch.

If each of these children cost our society just 18,000 a year to feed, clothe, house, educate and for medical expenses then we as a society could be spending about 15,000,000 a year for just these 3 families. That's right ladies and gentlemen up to 15,000,000 a year of your tax dollars may be going to support these families. Over 18 years these children may well cost our society 270,000,000. Now what happens if these 78 children have just 2 children of their own.

Some may be wondering how I came to the conclusion we the American tax payers are supporting these children. I have no direct evidence but as 72.5 % of ALL births in the AA community are to unwed mothers and we do support most or all of them its not an unreasonable conclusion. Granted the numbers I have given are educated guesses and assume that none of these women will ever support their families without government assistance but it is safe to say they will be receiving some level of support. In any case these men are not the exception, the sheer number of their children may be extreme but how many hundreds of thousands or million of others do we support with 4, 5, 6, or 7 children at what cost ?

The children of unwed mothers are more likely to fail school .... have substance abuse issues .... wind up in prison .... dead.... in fact every pathology our society exhibits you will find these children over represented and they vote democrat.

Three men in Tennessee have notched up a staggering 78 children by 46 different women between them - and are doing their best to squirm out of paying for a single one.
Terry Turnage has 23 children with 17 different women, while Richard M. Colbert has 25 children with 18 women. But Desmond Hatchett takes the record with 30 children with 11 women.
On rare occasions, they pay a few dollars to the long-suffering mothers but mostly leave the state to pick up the slack - while one eludes his responsibilities altogether thanks to a stint in prison.
The latest deadbeat dad to emerge from the state is Turnage, who was summoned before a judge over child support payments for his 23 kids by 17 different women - but didn't show up to court.

One of the mothers, who had spent nearly eight years with Turnage, said her knees buckled when a prosecutor told her that the father of her child had 20 other children.
'During the whole relationship, I only knew of four children,' Latoya Shields told WREG. 'At that time, three years ago, my child was the 21st child. Yeah, that would be overwhelming for anybody.'

The S.E.A.L.'S Do Not Support Obama

 I can not point out a starker difference than this. These are the men who killed OBL ...they are the rough men who have stood ready watching over us for decades. Asking for little they have fought, bled and died in places both known and unknown across the globe. They are men of honor, duty and country.  These men have achieved membership in perhaps the most elite well trained deadliest group of men the world has ever seen. They are our brothers our husbands and our sons and they do not support obama.

 When the democrats renominate obama I want you to watch carefully both who speaks for obama and what they stand for ....the difference will be shocking. You will see both men and women who represent special interests and it is and will be their interests which dominate the democrat convention. It will NOT  be what is best for the country, it will be about what is best for them and their narrow special interest groups. It will be unions, the  race baiters, gays and lesbians,the pro abortion crowd who see no other issue but that. None of these groups have the best interests of the United States as their primary concern. These groups are carrion birds looking to feed and that is all they are.  It will be these men and women who speak at the democrat convention and all will be asking whats in it for them.  As I said...  there cannot be a starker difference.

I’ve done a few comparisons of economic performance under Reagan and Obama, sometimes using the interactive data from the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank.
And I’ve done a few TV interviews on the same subject.
But something was very different in this interview on the Fox morning show. I was asked to respond to the Obama campaign’s assertion that Barack Obama’s policies created more private-sector jobs than Ronald Reagan’s policies.

I confess that I did the interview without first checking the numbers, and may not have been overly animated since I was in Denver and had to wake up before 4:00 a.m., but I felt confident enough to joke about an intern torturing data in the bowels of the White House.
But now that I’m back at my desk and I’ve had a chance to review the numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, I can now say, with full confidence, that Stephanie Cutter must be smoking crack (she’s also smoking hot, but that’s a separate discussion).
And her intern should be fired.
Here are the numbers for private sector jobs (technically “Private wage and salary workers”), looking at the first 42 months in office for both Reagan and Obama. I’m including both seasonally adjusted and raw numbers, just to show that there’s no way to slice the data to justify Ms. Cutter’s assertion.



And here’s a look at the comparative performance of Reagan and Obama, based on the percent increase in private jobs in the first 31 months.



I also looked at what would happen if agricultural and/or self-employed workers were added to the mix, but nothing changes. Reagan beats Obama with both hands tied behind his back.
And what makes these numbers even more stunning is that Obama took office in the middle of a downturn, so a lot of the job losses already had occurred. Reagan, by contrast, got hit with a recession after taking office. So even though I think that downturn can and should be blamed on Jimmy Carter, all of the job losses show up in Reagan’s column. Yet he still kicks the you-know-what out of Obama.
The lesson to draw from these numbers is that Presidents should reduce the burden of government if they want better economic performance. Saint Ronald understood this basic insight, but Barack the Destroyer somehow thinks America will be more prosperous if we mimic Europe’s welfare states.

With Obama As A Friend The Middle Class Doesn't Need Any Enemies

His policies have done nothing to lift the middle class and have had quite the opposite affect speeding the decline of the middle class. And he can't blame Bush.

The Presidential race is boiling down to one dominant issue: which party's policies will do more to help the financially stressed American middle class. President Obama's campaign theme is that Mitt Romney and the Republicans cater to the rich, while Mr. Obama cares about struggling families.

He may care, but he sure hasn't done much for them. New income data from the Census Bureau, tabulated by former Census income specialists at the nonpartisan economic consulting firm Sentier Research, reveal that the three-and-a-half years of the Obama Presidency have done enormous harm to middle-class households.

In January 2009, the month President Obama entered the Oval Office and shortly before he signed his stimulus spending bill, median household income was $54,983. By June 2012, it had tumbled to $50,964, adjusted for inflation. (See the chart nearby.) That's $4,019 in lost real income, a little less than a month's income every year.

Unfair, you say, because Mr. Obama inherited a recession? Well, even if you start the analysis when the recession ended in June 2009, the numbers are dismal. Three years after the economy hit its trough, median household income is down $2,544, or nearly 5%.

Add the authors: "The overall decline since June 2009 was larger than the 2.6 percent decline that occurred" during the recession from December 2007 to June 2009. For household income, in other words, the Obama recovery has been worse than the Bush recession.

It's true that the Bush years overall were also not great for household incomes. According to Sentier's analysis, real median household income is down about 8% from $55,470 in 2000 before the dot-com bubble burst. Some of this decline is due to the continuation of a trend of smaller family size, lower fertility rates and more Americans living alone. But some was also due to the subpar economic growth across the 2000s.

That slow growth trend has become worse since the latest recession, and this is where Mr. Obama is implicated. The President portrays the financial decline of American families on his watch as part of a decades-long trend. He's wrong. Real income for middle-income households rose by roughly 30% from 1983 to 2005, according to the Congressional Budget Office. The political left likes to blame the ebbing of union power. But nongovernment unionization fell dramatically in the 1980s and '90s, and incomes rose.

So what does explain falling real incomes? Slow growth, yes, but another culprit has been rising prices—especially for food, gasoline, medical procedures and college tuition—that have eroded worker purchasing power. The Federal Reserve claims this is no problem because "core inflation" has been relatively contained. But core inflation excludes food and energy prices, which are two of the biggest components of consumer budgets.

The big pay freeze is also the bitter fruit of public schools that have failed to teach the basic skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a competitive global economy. Rising health-care costs have also forced employers to take money that used to go into higher wages to pay higher premiums.

A key driver of higher wages in the 1980s and 1990s was a surge of capital investment in computers, plant and equipment, which made Americans workers more productive. When Mr. Obama pledges to raise taxes on investment income (capital gains, dividends and small-business profits), he is making it costlier to innovate and modernize. That plays out over time into slower gains in productivity and wages.

Consider the toll from America's corporate tax rate, which is the highest in the industrial world. A 2011 study by economists at the American Enterprise Institute found that because of the capital flight from the U.S. as a result of this high rate, "every additional dollar of tax revenue [from the corporate tax] leads to a $4 decrease in aggregate real wages." American workers would be the biggest beneficiaries of tax reform.

The new income data reveal other eye-opening trends. The group that has suffered the most during the Obama Presidency has been black Americans, whose real incomes have fallen by more than 11%.

Mr. Obama also likes to say that government workers like teachers are hurting and the private economy is doing "just fine." But the data indicate that over the past three years households with government workers saw their incomes decline less than households with private workers. The public-private pay gap is now wider than ever ($77,998 government versus $63,800).

Every age group has seen a decline in income—except the elderly. Those between the ages of 65 and 75 saw an average 6.5% gain in income, though most are not working and collect Medicare and Social Security.

The last time incomes fell this fast was during the late 1970s under Jimmy Carter, and it's no coincidence that economic policies then and now are so similar. If Mr. Obama succeeds in convincing voters that he really is the tribune of the middle class, it will be the political conjurer's trick of the century.

Does This Mean Obama Is A Racist

 I have written and posted other stories about this not long ago but it still really irks me on so many levels, so much so that when I see another piece on it I respond. What they are essentially setting up here is a race based school disciplinary system that will even further degrade our schools. As if that wasn't bad enough the liberals are openly saying that the state of the world is not what the state of the world actually is and they expect us to buy into it. There is a reason that African Americans are disciplined at much higher levels than most others.They are far more likely to commit offenses that require attention by school authorities and yes it really is as simple as that. The liberals would have to believe its racism but even in schools which are majority African American and largely run by African Americans the % does not change much.  It strikes me that once again liberals living in that odd little world that so many inhabit are insisting we acompany them. This is what happens when you create policies based on the world as you wish it were not as it actually is.The problem is its a world that often has little to do with reality.

President Barack Obama recently signed an executive order hiring race-sensitive bureaucrats to hold meetings and mandate racial discipline quotas. The order charges his new racial justice team, in part, with "promoting a positive school climate that does not rely on methods that result in disparate use of disciplinary tools." In plain English, that means that if different races have different incidences of disciplinary action, those of a favored race who act worse will be punished less, or those of a disfavored race who act better will be punished more, or both

Internal documents obtained by the House Judiciary Committee show that the Obama administration has been “cooking the books” in order to reach their “record” number of deported illegal immigrants, chairman Rep. Lamar Smith said Friday.
Based on the internal U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) documents, the number of removals are actually down, the opposite of what the administration has been claiming.

Holder Justice Department Recruits Dwarfs, Schizophrenics, and the ‘Intellectually Disabled’

The PJ Tatler has obtained documents from the Justice Department detailing efforts to recruit attorneys and staff who are dwarfs or who have “psychiatric disabilities” or “severe intellectual disabilities.”  On May 31, 2012, Assistant Attorney General Tom Perez issued a directive to affirmatively recruit people with these “targeted disabilities.”
This DOJ policy does not merely involve prohibitions against discrimination, but rather the documents reveal deliberate recruitment efforts to hire as attorneys and staff for the Department of Justice people suffering from psychiatric disorders and intellectual disabilities.  Moreover, applicants can “self-identify” their disability by means of the “Standard Form 256, Self Identification Disability.”
Those with “targeted disabilities” may be hired through a “non-competitive” appointment. That means they don’t have to endure the regular civil service competition among applicants, but can be plucked from the stack of resumes and hired immediately instead.
According to the documents, those with these “targeted disabilities” may be hired “before the position is advertised” and even “before the position’s closing date.” Moreover, lawyers with psychiatric disabilities and “severe intellectual” disabilities receive a waiver from the requirement that a new DOJ employee have practiced law for one year before being hired.

Well Republican Todd Akin has been pretty much drummed out of the Republican party for what he said but he should take heart as there is a path for redemption if he chooses to tread the path and can stand the company. The solution, become a democrat and given his history as a democrat he would likely soon find himself as a renown champion of women rights. How do I arrive at this conclusion you ask .... ted kennedy and billy jeff clinton. Billy jeff clinton is in fact a serial abuser of women, an alleged rapist, a known liar and a disbarred attorney. Granted with Todd Akin's miserly history of abusing women I suspect he could never became the Lion of the Senate as ted ( the swimmer ) kennedy or President as billy jeff clinton did. Akin just doesn't have the heft that either of those 2 did and do but if he was willing to continue his efforts and perhaps kill or rape a few women there seems to be no limit as to how far he could advance within the friendly confines of the democrat party. Take heart Congressman Akin all is not lost .... just lower your standards and commit a few felonies and you could find yourself running for the presidency of the United States or perhaps the keynote speaker at the next democrat nominating convention.

The Democrat Stance On Abortion ..... Kill Them All Let God Sort Them Out

Well, rumor has it the democrat convention to renominate obama will be a fete to abortion as more and more women are added to speakers roles in response to the dust up in Missouri. Caused by a severe case of foot in mouth disorder by Republican candidate Todd Akin who was until recently considered a lock for a Missouri Senate seat. That seat currently held by a democrat was not so long ago labeled a sure pick up for any Republican with a pulse but with a deftness that surpasses my limited understanding the Republican shot off several of his toes and then seemed to have compounded the error by refusing to drop out of the race as decency would require.

Would his dropping out have made a difference ....who knows but it does tend to highlight a difference between Republicans and democrats. When a Republican dons a pair of golf shoes and steps on his crank in the full light of day, in front of God and the world they tend to fall on their swords. For better or worse that did not happen in this case and come what may we will have to live with the outcome. Democrats in similar circumstances will circle their wagons hunker down and hope to hold out against the onslaught ( think ted ( the swimmer ) kennedy and billy jeff clinton ) With Republican screw ups it is often we who lead the onslaught on our own while democrats start yelling HEY LOOK A SQUIRREL !!!!

Well the debate has come around to abortion and Paul Ryan and his so called extreme stance on abortion.  Ryan believes in life in all circumstances and in a recent interview pointed out he is the V.P. pick and his positions are meaningless but even supposing Ryan was the top of the ticket are they any more extreme than the democrat position which is kill them all and let God sort them out and with a special focus on minority babies. Obama voted against born alive bills while in the Illinois Senate while in committee or present on the Senate floor. In other words he didn't have the stones to take a stand likely fearing it would affect future political opportunities. So I ask who's position is more extreme, Ryan's who believes in life or obama's who would  allow a child born alive after a botched abortion to die. As I said the democrat position is kill them all and let God sort them out.

As a bonus however we are beginning to get an idea of the democrat platform for this election cycle 1 - abortion  2 - Romney's tax returns 3 - Romney's dog  4 - Romney's money 5 - Todd Akin 6 - skinny dipping ... I guess for the average democrat who has a difficult time with shinny things these are the defining issues of our times but I am left with the nagging feeling they might be missing a thing or 2 that need attention

Both contained identical clauses saying that nothing in the bills could be construed to affect legal rights of an unborn fetus, according to an undisputed summary written immediately after the committee�s 2003 mark-up session.

  • Pennsylvania's education spending increased from $4 billion in 1980 to more than $25 billion in 2009—a 133% increase in per-student spending, after adjusting for inflation.

No Horses, But Detroit Water Department Employs 'Horseshoer'

Union head says it's 'not possible' to eliminate positions from bloated city entity

Despite having no horses, the water and sewerage department for the city of Detroit employs a horseshoer.
Yet even with a department so bloated that it has a horseshoer and no horses, the local union president said it is "not possible" to eliminate positions.
Union rules have turned the department into a government jobs program, some critics say.
The horseshoer’s job description is "to shoe horses and to do general blacksmith work … and to perform related work as required." The description was last updated in 1967.
The Detroit Water and Sewerage Department (DWSD) has a large debt, rising water prices and inefficient services — using almost twice the number of employees per gallon as other cities like Chicago.
A recent independent report about the DWSD recommends that the city trim more than 80 percent of the department’s workforce. The consultant who wrote the report found 257 job descriptions, including a horseshoer. Capitol Confidential sent a Freedom of Information Act request to the department for the salary, benefits and job description of the horseshoer position.

I hope all you liberals who read this are sitting down. This election is not about tax returns, dogs or where Romney keeps his money. I know, shocking because if one listens to the democrats that is just what this election is all about. I personally have always been somewhat sceptical that the fate of our nation was dependant on Romney's tax returns but I'm not a liberal and never really believed obama had a pet unicorn or could raise the dead ....hmmmmmm well O.K. maybe he can do that last one .... he is from Chicago but that is not what this election is about. This election is going to decide if we , as a nation wind up sleeping on a steam grate pushing a shopping cart around a bad part of town and not Romney's underware.

Is There Really A Media Bias ?

Of course posing that as a question was silly. The only folks who refuse to accept that there is a media bias are those who benefit from it .... namely liberals. In fairness some liberals will admit there is a liberal bias but generally believe that it has little or no affect on politics and policy. My opinion is its a duck, you can wrap it in a moose suit and call it a moose but its still a duck in a moose suit.

Has The Dept Of Homeland Security Become A Lesbian Only Disco

Well once again it seems the law of unintended consequences is rearing its ugly head and taking another wee chunk out of obama's already skinny ass. There have long been rumors that head of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano is a lesbian. These rumors did not start with her ascendancy to one of the top cop posts in the nation but have been circulating for years. That pick may come back to haunt obama.

Personally I have never held these rumors, true or false against her and generally have figured at least we like the same things. I will profess to even having been somewhat sympathetic as I have a list of the 100 stupidest things I have done because of women and I will admit that some of those entries are quite spectacular in the depth and breath of stupid on display. That being said I don't know if being gay or a lesbian is voluntary or its the way your born but I will say that I have known more than a few folks who seem to slip quite easily and comfortably into or out of gay .... straight lifestyles. The point being I didn't have a choice it was the way I was issued so to speak but I do have that list of the 100 stupidest things I have ever done because of women and I always thought that if it was a choice and some made a actual conscious decision  to cultivate a desire for women they must be on the negative side of sanity, courageous perhaps but stupid .... like I said I do have that list and more than a few things on that list have left me with a limp. 

In any case there are charges and lawsuits being levied and filed as we speak suggesting that the upper ranks of management of  the Dept of Homeland Security has become very hostile to men. It is said that some of those women who Napolitano brought with her soon after taking the post and are said to be very close to her have created an atmosphere that is blatantly hostile to men and have restricted careers and has gone so far as intimidation. Time will tell but these charges don't surprise me as some may have noted that obama has filled a great many positions with some of the most militant leftists of all sorts that our nation can produce and while those folks look interesting sitting in trees for a couple of years or in newsreels throwing paint on people you really don't want them in charge......unless of course your one of them and obama is.

Looks like the Department of Homeland Security could be renamed the Department of Hyper Sexuality.
A blistering federal discrimination suit accuses agency honcho Janet Napolitano of turning the department into a female-run “frat house” where male staffers were banished to the bathrooms and routinely humiliated.
James Hayes Jr., who now is New York’s top Homeland Security cop, claims Napolitano filled top spots in Washington, D.C., with two of her gal pals who were bent on tormenting male employees.
The suit identified them as Dora Schriro, who is now running the city Department of Correction, and Suzanne Barr, the chief of staff for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Soon after Schriro and Barr were hired in January 2009, male staffers were treated like lapdogs, Hayes claims.
Barr “moved the entire contents of the offices of three employees, including name plates, computers and telephones, to the men’s bathroom at ICE headquarters,” the suit says.
Barr also stole a male staffer’s BlackBerry and fired off a message to his female supervisor indicating that he “had a crush on [her] and fantasized about her,” Hayes claims.

At approximately 11:35 a.m. eastern Casey Mattox of the Family Research Council tweeted that there had been a shooting at their headquarters in downtown DC. While few details are known, Mattox reports that a guard was shot.

A Question

Its a pretty simple question ....How much of my labor is my neighbor entitled to ? Comments are open folks. If you look at the federal budget for 2010 you might notice that we spent nearly every dime of real money we took in on entitlements. We used the credit cards for everything else

A shooting in College Station has left 3 dead and several injured. One, a local Constable and a civilian and as I write this word is the suspect has also died of his injuries. Another injured was a College Station police officer. I know the area and its people well having lived in both Bryan and College Station for close to 20 years and my prayers go out to all.

Obama And The Democrats Fiddle ..... Rome Burns

If you are watching the democrats attack Paul Ryan on his budget plan it might seem that the nation's financial security and our 2 largest social programs are in the pink and everything is going swimmingly, according the democrats. Well according to the Social Security Trusties and the Medicare Trusties, SS is broke in 2034 and Medicare is broke in 2024. Paul Ryan has a plan ....the democrats have __________. No that was not a mistake, that empty space is the democrats plan to fix both Social Security and Medicare. It seems to me that the democrats are quite content to ignore the problem and slander anyone who attempts to address the issue beyond the usual clucking they do when the subject is brought up and it is pointed out that both are near bankruptcy. They are more than willing to sell our souls and our well being to win another election or 2 and that folks is all the time they have until the toilet is flushed. One has to ask if the democrats really care if Medicare goes broke and if that is indeed their plan. Will that mean that they will finally get their universal health care by allowing every other option to be destroyed. I would not put it past them.

After 2022, [OASI+DI] trust fund assets will be redeemed in amounts that exceed interest earnings until trust fund reserves are exhausted in 2036, one year earlier than was projected last year. Thereafter, tax income would be sufficient to pay only about three-quarters of scheduled benefits through 2085.

Medicare posts equally sobering numbers. The Health Insurance (HI) portion of Medicare is being hit by the slow US economic recovery and by higher costs for medical care. The Trustees project that the HI trust fund will be exhausted in 2024:

Over 75 years, HI’s actuarial imbalance is estimated to be equivalent to 21 percent of tax receipts or 17 percent of program outlays.

Medicare parts B and D (supplemental insurance and prescription drugs) are projected to be adequately financed indefinitely, but that’s due to a guaranteed Congressional allocation that currently amounts to 1.9% of GDP in 2010 and will reach 4.1% of GDP by 2085.
Obamacare lowers projected Medicare costs by 25% over the 75-year term. Most of the savings are related to reducing annual payment increases to providers, of which the Trustees note, “the long-term viability of this provision is debatable.”

My 18 year old daughter and I attempted to go to the Romney/Ryan rally this morning in Mooresville , NC. This is a video [image below] of the crowd outside around 9 a.m. The crowd behind me was as big. We did not get in as the crowd was too large. The fire marshal turned the crowds away. This was as close as we got. We saw about 12 protestors in 3 separate groups of 4 each. They were not convincing anyone that “Offshore Mitt” posed any threat to the country. As one man said to me…we are the people that work for a living and the people that are protesting are the people that vote for a living. Be encouraged. There are many, many good people with us.
I have always enjoyed your blog.

I'll be adding to this over the course of the day. Obama and his Flying Monkey's have been touting Romney's supposed lack of a financial plan well the pick of Ryan solves that as well as several issues both sides have admitted are problems and need to be addressed but the democrats have refused to even discuss. The big one is Social Security which everyone admits is in trouble but the democrats only plan seems to be to insert head in sand and ignore the issue..... I think the contrast between obama/biden and R/R is going to be stark ...gloom, doom, misery and low ball or sunshine and light with real ideas rather than wishful thinking. Lets the games begin. 

Republican nominee Mitt Romney has made his V.P. choice and that choice is Congressman Paul Ryan, a interesting choice for the risk adverse Romney. Ryan has been a lightening rod for democrat attacks since his plan to reform Social Security was released. I like the choice, while obama and his Flying Monkey's are focused on matters of such national importance as Mitt's tax returns and his underware and lying their asses off about Bain. Romney and his group will be speaking of the more mundane matters as Social Security reform, our national debt and jobs. While joe biden is sticking his foot in his mouth in all 60 states ( no that is no an error, if you ask I'll explain it ) Ryan will be explaining how he and Romney will put out the fires that are burning the U.S. to the ground. While obama is on the stump telling us how much better things have become since he became president Romney and Ryan will be explaining how they will lead us out of the rabbit hole obama has led us down. So the choice will be between the man who ran the state of Massachusetts and ran it well, the man who built a multi billion dollar business and turned a profit for the Olympics and his V.P. choice who is perhaps the most informed and knowledgeable numbers guy on either side of the isle against the community organizer and joe biden. Not a difficult choice for me. Time for the children to step aside and let the adults clean up the sandbox.

The Pennsylvania Voter ID law will hopefully be put to a merciful end next week by Commonwealth Court Judge Robert Simpson. The Pennsylvania law is one of many new laws across the country passed exclusively by Republican controlled legislatures with one purpose in mind, and that is to suppress the vote of classes of voters who tend to vote Democratic.
Judge Simpson heard seven days of testimony concerning the law, which included some startling admissions from the Commonwealth. Among the eye opening admissions from the Commonwealth are that "(T)here have been no investigations or prosecutions of in-person voter fraud in Pennsylvania; and the parties do not have direct personal knowledge of any such investigations or prosecutions in other states."
