Congressional Forum Announced For 11'th and 17'th Congressional Districts

From the Laureen Cummings Campaign .... candidate 17'th Congressional district

The Times Leader in conjunction with Wilkes University will host 2 congressional forums with those seeking office in the 11'th and 17'th congressional districts. Both forums will be held on the campus of Wilkes University with the first being set for the 11'th Congressional district on October 8'th beginning at 7 P.M. The forum for those seeking office in the 17'th Congressional district will be held on the October 10'th at 7 P.M.. The location has yet to be released.

Joe Butkiewicz ( Joe has worked at The Times Leader since 1983, first as a feature writer and then Arts & Leisure Team Leader, Editorial Page Editor, Managing Editor of Community Newspapers, Managing Editor and now, Vice President/News.)will introduce the candidates and Mark Jones the editorial editor will serve as moderator. The Times Leader will decide which questions will be asked and will not be taking questions from the audience. Service Electric will broadcast the event live and will re broadcast at a later date
