Very early on, before this campaign started in earnest, live or die, I publicly cast my lot with Gallup and Rasmussen. As a poll addict going back to 2000, these are the outlets that have always played it straight. It's got nothing to do with politics and everything to do with credibility and not wanting to kid myself. So when an outlet like Gallup tells me Romney is up seven-points, 52-45%, among those who have already voted, that's very big news.
Just as Gallup did with their bombshell survey showing that 2012 is looking like a year where Republicans will enjoy a record three-point turnout advantage over Democrats (a ten-point shift from 2008), for whatever reason, they buried the lede with this latest bombshell, as well. When you consider the fact that the CorruptMedia's been talking for weeks about how Obama's crushing Romney in early voting, you would think Gallup proving that Narrative a big fat phony lie would be news. Instead, though, they bury this explosive news at the bottom of a piece headlined: "In U.S., 15% of Registered Voters Have Already Cast Ballots".
Sounds like a nothing story, right?
Except waaaaay at the bottom we learn this:
Thus far, early voters do not seem to be swaying the election toward either candidate.
Romney currently leads Obama 52% to 45% among voters who say they have already cast their ballots. However, that is comparable to Romney's 51% to 46% lead among all likely voters in Gallup's Oct. 22-28 tracking polling. At the same time, the race is tied at 49% among those who have not yet voted but still intend to vote early, suggesting these voters could cause the race to tighten. However, Romney leads 51% to 45% among the much larger group of voters who plan to vote on Election Day, Nov. 6.
When Gallup says early voters don’t seem to be swaying the election, presumably what they means is that because Romney is ahead by five points nationally, an early voting advantage of seven-points isn't going to "sway the election."
Romney's early voting lead in Gallup may not jive with the CorruptMedia narrative, but it does with actual early vote totals that have been released and show Romney's early vote totals either beating Obama in swing states such as Colorado and Florida or chipping away at the President's advantage in the others. For example, here's what we know about Ohio's early voting numbers, thus far:
But here is what we do know: 220,000 fewer Democrats have voted early in Ohio compared with 2008. And 30,000 more Republicans have cast their ballots compared with four years ago. That is a 250,000-vote net increase for a state Obama won by 260,000 votes in 2008.
Something else in this Gallup survey also helps shed some light on what we're seeing in these sometimes counter-intuitive state polls. As the headline states, Gallup is showing that only 15% of the public has already voted. Moreover, they've broken down early voting by region and show that in the Midwest only 13% of voters have already voted. And yet, many polls in places like Ohio show a much higher percentage of early voters, some as high as 30%, which you can bet skews the data. In other words, those polls can't be correct.
Other than the fact that this is Gallup, another reason to embrace this poll is due to its very large sample size of 3,312 registered voters.

This morning President Obama’s campaign indicated they are going on the air in Pennsylvania and sending Joe Biden to the state trying to protect a state that just one week ago was considered to be safe ground. One possible reason? The enormous GOP edge in absentee ballot returns in the state, creating an enormous and unexpected hole for the President’s campaign to dig out of.
In 2008 the GOP edged the Democrats by just 2% in absentee returns. As of today the GOP’s lead is 18.8% — a 16.9% bump in a state Obama won by 10% in 2008. Republicans have turned in 55.2% of the absentee ballots to date while the Democrats have returned just 36.4%.
The Romney Victory team has been on the ground in Pennsylvania for months with over 60 staff and dozens of offices. We have made over 5 million volunteer voter contacts including over 1 million volunteer door knocks across Pennsylvania. That voter contact is paying off in the absentee ballot returns and clearly the President’s campaign sees it in their numbers. That’s why they are playing defense in the Keystone state as Governor Romney’s momentum allows us to expand the map.

So It Seems That Italian Owned Jeep Is Indeed Moving Production To China And Europe
Well it seems that in spite of obama's denial of the story it is true and in Ohio Romney is running T.V. spots that call obama out on it. Every Jeep built in China is one less built in the U.S. I wonder how much of our obama bail out bucks will be spent building these plants in China

And Changsha, the capital of Hunan province, will be the location of the production base.
Fiat may be the only major automakers that suffered heavy losses in China in recent years. After losing tens of millions US dollars, it stopped partnership with Nanjing Auto, now part of SAIC. It temed up with GAC in late 2009 to give the Chinese market one more try.
To counter the severe slump in European sales, Marchionne is considering building Chrysler models in Italy, including Jeeps, for export to North America. The Italian government is evaluating tax rebates on export goods to help Fiat. Marchionne may announce details of his plan as soon as Oct. 30, the people said.Even the liberal Mother Jones magazine admitted that "technically, every word" of Romney's ad was true.

I watched the vid below and wondered if these people had been living in a bubble the last 150 years. The democrat party has never ever been about black people, they have been all about the black vote.If one looks across the nation to which communities are the absolute worse places in the country to live in as far as violence, crime, education, employment, drugs you are looking at AA or Latino communities without exception. If ones looks at the numbers one would see a steady decline in the well being of these communities since the democrats have become their self professed advocates, to the point that one has to wonder if there is a secret democrat cabal that has decided to destroy both communities and have been working for the last 60 years with great success to do just that.

Fox’s Jennifer Griffin deserves a Pulitzer for the work she is doing to uncover what really happened during and after the assault at Benghazi. In her latest blockbuster, she reports on how American personnel were left without aid during the battle.
Who gave those stand-down orders? Was the CIA director, Gen. David Petraeus, aware of them? Did he approve them? Who specifically took any part on this decision?
“Monday morning quarterbacking”? They had a laser on the target. An F-18 could have reached the scene from Sigonella in about an hour and destroyed it.
The denial of aid is criminal. Whoever gave those multiple stand-down orders may be an accomplice to manslaughter, at least.
The notion that there was nothing they could have done is absurd. The military has binders and binders — note that word — of contingency plans to deal with breaking security issues and attacks. But our troops, according to Sen. John McCain, were not even put on alert, and field operators on the scene were ordered to stand down.

BREAKING: CIA Requested Help During Benghazi Battle, Were Denied Three Times (Updated)

Fox News has learned from sources who were on the ground in Benghazi that three urgent requests from the CIA annex for military back-up during the attack on the U.S. Consulate and subsequent attack nearly seven hours later were denied by officials in the CIA chain of command — who also told the CIA operators to “stand down” rather than help the ambassador’s team when shots were heard at approximately 9:40 p.m. in Benghazi on Sept. 11.
Former Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty were part of a small team who were at the CIA annex about a mile from the U.S. Consulate where Ambassador Chris Stevens and his team came under attack. When they heard the shots fired, they radioed to inform their higher-ups to tell them what they were hearing. They were told to “stand down,” according to sources familiar with the exchange. An hour later, they called again to headquarters and were again told to “stand down.”
Who gave those stand-down orders? Was the CIA director, Gen. David Petraeus, aware of them? Did he approve them? Who specifically took any part on this decision?
A Special Operations team, or CIF which stands for Commanders in Extremis Force, operating in Central Europe had been moved to Sigonella, Italy, but they too were told to stand down. A second force that specializes in counterterrorism rescues was on hand at Sigonella, according to senior military and intelligence sources. According to those sources, they could have flown to Benghazi in less than two hours. They were the same distance to Benghazi as those that were sent from Tripoli. Specter gunships are commonly used by the Special Operations community to provide close air support.
According to sources on the ground, the special operator on the roof of the CIA annex had visual contact and a laser pointing at the Libyan mortar team that was targeting the CIA annex. The operators were calling in coordinates of where the Libyan forces were firing from.
Defense Secretary Leon Panetta told reporters at the Pentagon on Thursday that there was not a clear enough picture of what was occurring on the ground in Benghazi to send help.
“There’s a lot of Monday morning quarterbacking going on here,” Panetta said Thursday. “But the basic principle here … is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on.”

Officials at the White House and State Department were advised two hours after attackers assaulted the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11 that an Islamic militant group had claimed credit for the attack, official emails show.More… Greta Van Susteren reported that there were US troops in Italy about an hours flight away from Benghazi but they were never called in to help.
The emails, obtained by Reuters from government sources not connected with U.S. spy agencies or the State Department and who requested anonymity, specifically mention that the Libyan group called Ansar al-Sharia had asserted responsibility for the attacks.
The brief emails also show how U.S. diplomats described the attack, even as it was still under way, to Washington.
U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed in the Benghazi assault, which President Barack Obama and other U.S. officials ultimately acknowledged was a “terrorist” attack carried out by militants with suspected links to al Qaeda affiliates or sympathizers.
Administration spokesmen, including White House spokesman Jay Carney, citing an unclassified assessment prepared by the CIA, maintained for days that the attacks likely were a spontaneous protest against an anti-Muslim film.

Time after time after time we see the democrats attempt to create incidents of racial animosity in order to keep their former property on their plantation. The democrats have failed their former property in so many ways and to such an extent I sometimes find it hard to believe and even harder to accept that their former property supports them at close to 100 %. This however far surpasses anything I have ever seen before and not even by a close margin. How in Gods name could someone do this to themselves and I really want to know how the race baiters feel about this because it is they who have fueled this insanity. I don't think I need to go into the state of African Americans in the U.S. these days and all under the kindly tutelage of the democrat party. Hell with the democrat party as their friends a few more generations might very well see the end of the African American population in the U.S.

After years of covering racial hoaxes on college campuses and victim sob stories in the public arena, I’ve encountered countless opportunists who live by that demented mindset. At best, the fakers are desperately seeking 15 minutes of infamy. At worst, their aim is the criminalization of political dissent.
Upon decimating the deliberative process to hand President Obama a health care “reform” victory, unpopular Beltway Democrats and their media water-carriers now claim there’s a Tea Party epidemic of racism, harassment, and violence against them. On Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued a tepid, obligatory statement against smearing all conservatives as national security threats. But her lieutenants had already emptied their tar buckets. Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chairman Chris Van Hollen blamed Republican leaders of “stoking the flames.” Democrat House Whip James Clyburn accused the GOP of “aiding and abetting” what he called “terrorism.”
Yet, the claims that Tea Party activists shouted “nigger” at black House Democrats remain uncorroborated. The coffin reportedly left outside Missouri Democrat Rep. Russ Carnahan’s home was used in a prayer vigil by pro-life activists in St. Louis protesting the phony Demcare abortion funding ban in President Obama’s deal-cutting executive order. Videotape of a supposed intentional spitting incident targeting Missouri Democrat Rep. Emanuel Cleaver at the Capitol shows no such thing. Cleaver himself backed off the claim a few days later. He described his heckler to the Washington Post in more passive terms as “the man who allowed his saliva to hit my face.” Slovenliness = terrorism!
The FBI is now investigating the most serious allegation – that Tea Party activists in Virginia are somehow responsible for a cut gas line at the home of Democrat Rep. Tom Perriello’s brother. But instead of waiting for the outcome of that probe, liberal pundits have enshrined the claim as conclusive evidence of the Tea Party reign of terror.
Need more reasons to treat the latest Democrat hysteria with a grain of salt the size of their gargantuan health care bill? Remember:
*In November 2009, Kentucky Census worker Bill Sparkman was found dead in a secluded rural cemetery with the word “Fed” scrawled on his chest with a rope around his neck. The Atlantic Monthly, the Huffington Post, and liberal media hosts stampeded over themselves to blame Fox News, conservative blogs, Republicans, and right-wing radio. Federal, state, and local authorities discovered that Sparkman had killed himself and deliberately concocted a hate crime hoax as part of an insurance scam to benefit his surviving son.
*In mid-October 2008, news outlets from Scranton, Pa., to ABC News, to the Associated Press and MSNBC reported that someone at a Sarah Palin rally shouted “Kill him” when Barack Obama’s name was mentioned. In fact, the Secret Service (which was at the event in full force) couldn’t find a single person to corroborate the story – other than the local reporter for the Scranton Times-Tribune who made an international incident out of the claim. Agent Bill Slavoski “said he was in the audience, along with an undisclosed number of additional secret service agents and other law enforcement officers and not one heard the comment,” the paper reported in a red-faced follow-up. *In September 2009, supporters of Colorado Democrat Rep. John Salazar falsely accused a town hall protester of hurling a death threat at the congressman. Liberal blogs again disseminated the angry Tea Party mob narrative. A week later, the local press quietly reported that Grand Junction police had investigated the incident – and determined the claim was “unfounded.” A police spokeswoman revealed that “[p]eople who witnessed the interaction between the man who made the complaint and the suspect confirmed they never heard any direct threats made regarding Congressman Salazar; the witnesses included a Grand Junction cop “in close proximity when the interaction took place.”
*In late August 2009, as lawmakers faced citizen revolts at health care town halls nationwide, the Colorado Democratic Party decried a vandalism attack at its Denver headquarters. A hammer-wielding thug smashed 11 windows and caused $11,000 in property damage. The perpetrator, Maurice Schwenkler, turned out to be a far Left nutball/transgender activist/single-payer anarchist who had worked for a SEIU-tied 527 group and canvassed for a Democrat candidate. Nevertheless, State Democrat Party chair Pat Waak continued to blame “people opposed to health care” for the attack.
Then, as now, being a Democrat Party official means never having to say you’re sorry for smearing conservative dissent.

Two days after multiple law enforcement agencies began an investigation into the attack and burning of a Winnsboro woman at Civitan Park, authorities now believe the wounds were self-inflicted.The Monroe Morning Star adds:
According to Winnsboro Police Chief Lester Thomas, evidenced gathered at the scene of the incident shows 20-year-old Sharmeka Moffitt’s initial claims that she was attacked and set on fire turned out to be false claims made up by Moffitt. “This is a case in which the investigators had to pursue the facts that were presented,” Thomas said. “It’s been a very disturbing case for everyone involved.”
On Sunday, officers responded to a 911 call around 8 p.m. near the walking trail at Civitan Park to find Moffitt with burns covering her body. It was less than a minute from the time the call from Moffitt came into the 911 center that officers from the Winnsboro Police Department and the Franklin Parish Sheriff’s Office were on the scene at the park located on Hwy. 15.
Moffitt could not identify the race of her attackers, but said three men wearing “T-shirt hoodies” doused her in a flammable liquid and set her on fire at the park. The responding officers found no suspects or vehicles at the park where the attack allegedly occurred….State Police arrived by helicopter with its crime lab team to gather evidence shortly after Moffitt was taken for medical assistance. Law enforcement officials gathered evidence from the scene all night, finishing its scaling of the crime scene by Monday morning.
After analyzing the evidence at the State Police Crime Lab, it was discovered Moffitt’s fingerprints were on the cigarette lighter and the lighter fluid recovered near the wooded area around the crime scene.
“There is more physical evidence along those lines that back this up,” Thomas said.
Police have announced that they believe Sharmeka Moffitt fabricated a story about being attacked and burned Sunday night at Civitan Park in Winnsboro by three men who wrote “KKK” on the hood of her car.Russell Simmons’ Global Grind is also reporting the new revelations and asks: “[W]hy would someone do something so horrible?”
Franklin Parish Sheriff Kevin Cobb said during a press conference at the Franklin Parish Courthouse this afternoon that all forensic evidence pointed toward Moffitt concocting the story and setting herself on fire.
“Basically we had to follow the facts,” Cobb said. “This was a disturbing case for all involved. All indications show this was a self-inflicted situation.”
Longtime readers know it’s not an isolated phenomenon — and neither is the knee-jerk impulse to blame conservatives/the Tea Party/Fox News for numerous incidents that turned out to be completely manufactured.
As Twitchy pointed out, liberals rushed to blame the Sharmeka Moffitt case on Mitt Romney and the Tea Party.
We’re sure all those who fraudulently convicted the Right will get around to retracting and apologizing just as soon as smear merchant Andrew Sullivan gets around to retracting his false accusation that conservatives were responsible for the suicide insurance hoax of that Kentucky census worker.

If you can’t stand the heat, manufacture a hate crime epidemic.
After years of covering racial hoaxes on college campuses and victim sob stories in the public arena, I’ve encountered countless opportunists who live by that demented mindset. At best, the fakers are desperately seeking 15 minutes of infamy. At worst, their aim is the criminalization of political dissent.
Upon decimating the deliberative process to hand President Obama a health care “reform” victory, unpopular Beltway Democrats and their media water-carriers now claim there’s a Tea Party epidemic of racism, harassment, and violence against them. On Thursday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued a tepid, obligatory statement against smearing all conservatives as national security threats. But her lieutenants had already emptied their tar buckets. Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chairman Chris Van Hollen blamed Republican leaders of “stoking the flames.” Democrat House Whip James Clyburn accused the GOP of “aiding and abetting” what he called “terrorism.”
Yet, the claims that Tea Party activists shouted “nigger” at black House Democrats remain uncorroborated. The coffin reportedly left outside Missouri Democrat Rep. Russ Carnahan’s home was used in a prayer vigil by pro-life activists in St. Louis protesting the phony Demcare abortion funding ban in President Obama’s deal-cutting executive order. Videotape of a supposed intentional spitting incident targeting Missouri Democrat Rep. Emanuel Cleaver at the Capitol shows no such thing. Cleaver himself backed off the claim a few days later. He described his heckler to the Washington Post in more passive terms as “the man who allowed his saliva to hit my face.” Slovenliness = terrorism!
The FBI is now investigating the most serious allegation – that Tea Party activists in Virginia are somehow responsible for a cut gas line at the home of Democrat Rep. Tom Perriello’s brother. But instead of waiting for the outcome of that probe, liberal pundits have enshrined the claim as conclusive evidence of the Tea Party reign of terror.
Need more reasons to treat the latest Democrat hysteria with a grain of salt the size of their gargantuan health care bill? Remember:
*In November 2009, Kentucky Census worker Bill Sparkman was found dead in a secluded rural cemetery with the word “Fed” scrawled on his chest with a rope around his neck. The Atlantic Monthly, the Huffington Post, and liberal media hosts stampeded over themselves to blame Fox News, conservative blogs, Republicans, and right-wing radio. Federal, state, and local authorities discovered that Sparkman had killed himself and deliberately concocted a hate crime hoax as part of an insurance scam to benefit his surviving son.
*In mid-October 2008, news outlets from Scranton, Pa., to ABC News, to the Associated Press and MSNBC reported that someone at a Sarah Palin rally shouted “Kill him” when Barack Obama’s name was mentioned. In fact, the Secret Service (which was at the event in full force) couldn’t find a single person to corroborate the story – other than the local reporter for the Scranton Times-Tribune who made an international incident out of the claim. Agent Bill Slavoski “said he was in the audience, along with an undisclosed number of additional secret service agents and other law enforcement officers and not one heard the comment,” the paper reported in a red-faced follow-up. CBS News has been told that, hours after the attack began, an unmanned Predator drone was sent over the U.S. mission in Benghazi, and that the drone and other reconnaissance aircraft apparently observed the final hours of the protracted battle.

Fact Check: Story about Mitt Romney and missing child is true
Times-Union readers want to know:
Is it true that Mitt Romney closed down his firm, Bain Capital, and flew 30 workers to New York to look for the missing daughter of one of his colleagues?
The fact-finding groups PolitiFact.com, Snopes.com and Truthorfiction.com all rate this as true, and media reports of the day confirm much of the details of the viral email.
Although the message has been filling mailboxes, brought to light again now because of Romney's candidacy, the story has been circulating since he campaigned for the presidency in 2007. It came up then because of a television ad that showed the colleague, Robert Gay, crediting Romney with helping reunite him with his daughter, according to PolitiFact.com, a Pulitzer Prize-winning fact-finding project of the Tampa Bay Times.
What eventually came out, as reported in various news media, was that Melissa Gay, the 14-year-old daughter of Gay, the managing director of Bain Capital, sneaked out of her Connecticut home on July 6, 1996, and took the train to New York.
The reports quoted police and sources at Bain as saying that Melissa Gay met up with two men she knew, went with them to a rave party, took several doses of Ecstasy and was last seen at a party in the Bronx.
When she didn't come home, her parents called police.
The New York Times reported:
"As the days went by and her parents, Robert and Lynette Gay, grew more and more frantic, they finally told Mr. Gay's partners at the private equity-investment firm Bain Capital. A few hours later, executives of the Boston-based firm were on the shuttle to New York for a huge volunteer effort, harnessing corporate manpower throughout the city and immersing professional baby boomers in a youth party culture many knew nothing about. ...
"Bain Capital's partners closed down the firm and drew on friendships and connections to find volunteers for the search. R.R. Donnelly, the firm's printer, printed more than 300,000 fliers bearing Ms. Gay's picture and last known whereabouts. Duane Reade, a drugstore chain in which Bain Capital is an investor, had clerks at 52 stores insert fliers in shopping bags. ..."
Romney was one of the founders and partners of Bain Capital.
Various media outlets reported that the 14-year-old was found on July 11 after police traced a call by a teenage boy from New Jersey — he had taken in the girl unbeknowst to his parents — who called authorities asking about a reward.
Lt. David Peterson of the Montville (N.J.) Township Police told PolitiFact in 2008 that police reports did not mention Romney personally.
But the Boston Globe reported that Robert Gay had kept the ordeal to himself, confiding only in Romney. And it was Romney, the Globe stated, who told the other 11 managing directors and they decided that a missing girl came before their firm.
In an article in 2002, the Globe quoted Robert Gay as crediting Romney with organizing the search for his daughter.
"It was the most amazing thing, and I'll never forget this to the day I die," Gay told the Globe. "What he did was literally close down an entire business. He basically galvanized an entire industry that just doesn't do this, and got them all on the streets for 48 hours."

Ryan To Come To Pa
I think Pa is close enough to justify putting a good bit of effort into winning it over the next couple of weeks. It has the added bonus of getting a response from the obama campaign and with what the polls are saying they would have to respond. I suspect Romney is going to win Pa but it more a gut feeling on my part than anything based on data. I will say this all states are trending toward Romney including Pa and I suspect that is going to continue. Obama on the RCP electoral map has gone from 256 likely EC votes to 201 and Romney now leads 206 to 201 ...expect Fla to add to Romney's EC lead within the next week. Obama may win but the paths he once had is shrinking while Romney's are expanding

Actually, I think this is less about putting Pennsylvania in play (for now) than it is about messing with Democrats’ heads and making a pitch to southeastern Ohio next door, but it’s a fun little gambit.
A new Fox News poll of Ohio tonight has Romney within three, a gain of four points since last month — despite a sample that’s actually more Democratic this month (D+8) than it was before the game changing first debate (D+6). Ohio’s 2008 exit poll was also D+8 but that won’t be duplicated this time, which suggests Fox may actually be low balling Romney’s strength. Even weirder, check out the independent column:

Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s running mate, Paul Ryan, will return to Pennsylvania on Saturday for the first time in two months as independent polls show a narrowing race in the key Electoral College state.
The Romney campaign said Ryan will appear at a morning rally in a private hangar by Pittsburgh International Airport. Tom Smith, the GOP candidate for U.S. Senate, will speak at the rally…
Pittsburgh is a strategically important area for the Republican Party. The city’s media market reaches eastern Ohio, a primary battleground state, and heavily populated southwestern Pennsylvania is an area of growing strength for Republicans. Republicans hope to sway the area’s conservative Reagan Democrats, who are turning away from Obama but have not fully embraced Romney.

Bushwhacked ?
I'm not sure what is going on with the polls over the last couple of days but it does make me wonder. Obama had a decent showing in the last debate ....he had a pulse .... his mouth was moving and there were sounds coming out but that showing does not seem to have helped him. In fact my observation is it may have actually hurt him for some odd reason. The only thing I can conclude is that what a good many people were saying for some time that there was no way obama could win with things as bad as they are was indeed true and that early election polling is ..... crap. Why, you muse, well over the last few days according to Gallup Romney has opened a 7 point lead and is now above 50 % ( 52 % ) and that is one helluva swing. Granted according to the numbers I have seen close to 140 million people watched the 2 Presidential debates and I suspect that some may have taken note that Romney was not dressed in the skins of the elderly that Ryan pushed off the cliff nor did he have the scalps of the women bested in our war on women hanging from his belt. I just find it difficult to accept that the democrats were able to convince that many people for a time that Romney was the monster under the bed. Hell if you believed the democrats it was only threw the intervention of a kind and benevolent God and a fickle justice system that both Romney and Ryan had escaped lengthy prison sentences over the years. I guess what I am wondering is did that many people believe the democrat PR concerning Romney and Ryan and in watching the debates they realized it was rot or have their minds been made up for some time and they just now decided to go on record and in doing so in essence bushwhacked the obama campaign. I'm not complaining just curious.

Fight Night
Well I of course think Romney won. Why , because obama had to defend his record or attempt to explain it and he just could not. I was surprised that Romney brought up F and F on the gun issue and wonder if it will now get more air time from the MSM. Obama did well with what he had to work with which is a mess and no matter how he tried to spin it in asking for 4 more its not likely he would change much. So asking for 4 more years of the same is a tough row to hoe. It was a tussle from start to finish and both camps cut men have some work to do tonight.
Oh and in case you missed it ...the big kerfuffle of the night ...it turns out that even crowley admits Romney was right

WASHINGTON, D.C. – New research shows that dropping each one of the 200 tax breaks currently available in the US tax system would allow the government to slash the tax obligations of individual taxpayers in the country.
Every year the US government misses out on over USD 1.1 trillion in additional tax revenues due to the about 200 tax breaks and allowances offered in the US tax system. The revenue lost to the tax breaks is nearly equivalent to the annual budget deficit seen by the USA every year, according to the latest research published by the non-partisan think tank the Congressional Research Center (CRC).

Wilkes Barre To Raise Taxes .... Famed Malaysian Concentric Bird Rears Its Ugly Head
For those of you who do not know what the Malaysian Concentric Bird is ....it is or rather was a large self defeating feathered ancestor of the modern democrat. Its habit of flying in ever tightening circles until it disappeared up its own asshole pretty much insured it didn't last long in that incarnation. Well that's what is happening in Wilkes Barre ....the city raises taxes far above that of other local municipal bodies ...tax payers move to Kingston ....Dallas and save themselves money ....sec 8 residents move into their empty homes .... crime goes up .....tax revenues fall ...more city tax payers flee to Noxen .... Plains ....sec 8 residents move from Newark to fill those empty homes .....crime goes up ....tax revenues fall ....the city raises tax ..... ya see where this has gone folks ?

Wilkes-Barre Mayor Tom Leighton proposed a $45.8 million budget for 2013 that includes a tax increase of 30 mills.
I Thought Obama Liked Oil
If you listen to the obama campaign the community organizer is all about oil but yet time after time he goes out of his way to limit the production, transportation and use of domestic fuel supplies ....unless of course obama's unicorn farts it out. How do you folks like paying 50.00 for gas rather than 25.00 and how often do you pay it. Is this obama tax costing you 100.00 a month .... 200.00 a month. Well he did it again.
President Obama is campaigning as a champion of the oil and gas boom
he's had nothing to do with, and even as his regulators try to stifle
it. The latest example is the Interior Department's little-noticed
August decision to close off from drilling nearly half of the 23.5
million acre National Petroleum Reserve in Alaska.
The area is called the National Petroleum Reserve because in 1976
Congress designated it as a strategic oil and natural gas stockpile to
meet the "energy needs of the nation." Alaska favors exploration in
nearly the entire reserve. The feds had been reviewing four potential
development plans, and the state of Alaska had strongly objected to the
most restrictive of the four. Sure enough, that was the plan Interior
chose.
Interior Secretary Ken Salazar says his plan "will help the industry bring energy safely to market from this remote location, while also protecting wildlife and subsistence rights of Alaska Natives." He added that the proposal will expand "safe and responsible oil and gas development, and builds on our efforts to help companies develop the infrastructure that's needed to bring supplies online."
The problem is almost no one in the energy industry and few in Alaska agree with him. In an August 22 letter to Mr. Salazar, the entire Alaska delegation in Congress—Senators Mark Begich and Lisa Murkowski and Representative Don Young—call it "the largest wholesale land withdrawal and blocking of access to an energy resource by the federal government in decades." This decision, they add, "will cause serious harm to the economy and energy security of the United States, as well as to the state of Alaska." Mr. Begich is a Democrat.
The letter also says the ruling "will significantly limit options for a pipeline" through the reserve. This pipeline has long been sought to transport oil and gas from the Chukchi Sea, the North Slope and future Arctic drilling. Mr. Salazar insists that a pipeline could still be built, but given the Obama Administration's decision to block the Keystone XL pipeline, Alaskans are right to be skeptical.
