UPDATE VIA WILK RADIO .... at 10:36 ...Wilk just came across with a update from WB police who said that the individual shot was a home invasion suspect....he was shot after a 911 call and a foot pursuit
WILKES-BARRE – State Police at Wyoming are investigating a police-related
shooting in the area of Scott and Laurel streets that occurred around 5 a.m.
this morning.
Wilkes-Barre City police reportedly shot a man while investigating a disturbance on Laurel Street. The street remains closed between Scott and Kidder streets.
State Police are currently investigating a Volvo that is parked behind 370 Scott St. Troopers with the Forensic Services Unit are also looking for shell casings and other evidence on the ground.
